OK Bish, you have defended yur corner well but the names you have mentioned were long gone when you moved to 350 and compared to todays riders were on machines far inferior and underpowered.Chris Neath never broadsided a corner like all the riders of their day they 'road raced' and to their benefit at times.Look at Camier who is now a class act on tarmac but to contradict this Michael Elliot couldnt beet my daughter on grass even now but is making the grade on tarmac.Kids blow hot and cold and its not till they get to Tim Nobes,Jamie Rogers and Lewis Denhams age that they really show what there made of.I have been around the youth speedway scene aq lot lately and though they are good very few can ride grass balls out.It is good to hear your OK Chris and if you can get to the world longtrack events at Marmande or Morises this summer where hopefully my son Daniel will be in the Youth support events then you will enjoy it.

Hi everyone, Good to hear form you Tim, i cant come to any meetings at the moment as iam currently working in France all winter an then in Spain all summer but ill txt you soon.
Mr Phil Greenwood, nice to hear from you to!! I cant recall ever not allowing 250's to ride with 350's, infact i di ride with 250's and 125's at many evesham and Swindon meeting as their was no other 350's so not to sure where thats comin from!
I have no doubt that the current riders are of a good standard and that many of them will have long succesful carrers and probley would beat wiv easy and i wish them all the best. But it may have been a diffrent story riding against, the likes of Chris Neath Simon Stead Ryan Tolly Daniel King Chris Harris David Howe etc etc on a weekly basis not to mention John Jeffires Scott Nichols and Leigh Lanham Daniel Winterton who where afew classes above me but still a good quality of rider on ant given sunday. I am gutted i didnt carry on racing but my job sort of took over and im now living overseas i will try and catch a meeting when i come back it would be good to see you all again. Any way Phil my comments where meant in a jokey sense and anyone that half knows me would know that! id never disrespect anybody that has the ball to get on a bike and get out there Anyway Phil hope your keeping well and everything is running smoothly for the start of the new season take care

Gregory Cambell,
I suggest that you put your arse on a grass bike and come and race the likes of Adam,Daniel,Ben,Charlie and then we will see who smells.Yes Joe is a superb rider and has a good future but please dont slag off other riders who are dedicated and commited to the sport.Your unfriendly comments are not welcome in this link and of all the riders to pick on Adam will be out on a CRF 250 which on paper will cream any two stroke all day long.To say that Adam will never be as good as Joe maybe true but it was always noted that Simon Stead was always better than Joe Screen and look whos Belle Vue No 1.These are kids and they all need your support and encouragement. Its not about slagging each other off.

Hi Chris Bishop,
We remember you from Evesham Vale at the Rawlins on your bike.Your comments on current youth riders are not true and although Nos are declining the quality of rider is far superior to when you raced and they would certainly leave you behind with ease.Your sarcastic comments can be easily defended by the fact that as clerk of the course at the time you would not allow the 350 and 250 classes to be combined together because you were afraid of being beat.As I remember your excuse was that the 250 has a different racing line and you couldnt cope with that ! They were good times at Evesham its a pity you didnt continue.

Congratulations to club secretary Mark(Mr Blobby)Irving for staying upright and finishing all six races at Lancs Northern Riders on Sunday. His results were hardly anything to brag about but what was obvious was that young Joe the Toad was doing faster laps than Dad on a machine some 250cc smaller.Marks quivering hands were just able to light a cigarette upon finishing each heat and never stopped complaining about the lack of vision out on track. One can only assume that in some years to come he will sit and ponder about finally loosing his Grasstrack Cherry so admirably in front of all his friends and family.Well done Mark from your good friend Moon Pig.
